An underdog story in reverse.
San Marino is a bit of a footballing punchline (perhaps unfairly) due to the country’s size, poor showing on the international stage, and it’s close neighbour Italy stealing the limelight. That makes it the perfect challenge team for football games and Retro FIFA attempted an “ultimate” San Marino challenge by playing as them in every international FIFA game from FIFA 98 Road to World Cup to 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil and games from the UEFA series.

You can probably guess how they all turned out but really it’s a joy to see all the games and how they changed over the years, albeit in reverse. I miss the old UIs for sure!
