TIL: Montpellier HSC’s top goalscorer is a defender—former Marseille, Inter Milan, and Manchester United defender Laurent Blanc to be exact. He scored 80 goals in 267 appearances (although the club’s Wikipedia page says 84 goals). Either way, that’s a lot for a defender from the penalty spot and the penalty area.
