Dick Best was a former England rugby coach and Director of Rugby at London Irish. He won 13 of 17 games during his tenure with the Red and Whites. He also made a racist remark live on Sky Sports in 2009 when asked why he picked Delon Armitage—a Black Trinidadian-born player— over Tommy Bowe for his personal British Lions team:
“You’ve always got to have a coloured boy in the team.”
