SNES Drunk compiled another fine sports games list, this time for overpowered athletes on games such as:
- NBA Jam Tournament Edition
- Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball
- Mutant League Football
- NHL ’94
A silly joke from SNES Drunk spawned the list in a roundabout way and he challenged himself to find the most overpowered video game athletes were in the 16-bit era. Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl and Tecmo Super Bowl gets an early mention alongside the likes of Hakeem Olajuwon, Rickey Henderson, and Barry Sanders.
For anyone who had a 16-bit console back then or followed basketball, baseball, or American football in the 90s, this will be the kick of nostalgia you need.
Who do you think is the most OP video game athlete of the 16-bit era? Let us know in the comments.

Update: SNES Drunk made a Part 2.
