Winter Olympics
The Winter Olympics are a multi–sport event held every four years, typically between the months of February and March. The Winter Games complement the Summer Olympic Games held during summer months. The first Winter Olympics were held in 1924 in Chamonix, France and in modern times, the Games features competitions in a variety of winter sports, including alpine skiing, snowboarding, figure skating and speed skating, and ice hockey.
