Could Tiger Woods’s son Charlie be following in his father’s footsteps?
The 11-year-old played in a junior tournament at the Hammock Creek Golf Club in Florida at the weekend and blew the competition away. Charlie finished three under 33 over nine holes, 5 strokes ahead of 2nd place. Tiger was there and even caddied for him briefly.
In an interview with GOLFTV, Tiger said Charlie’s success was down to him and his desire:
“I don’t know. It depends how bad he wants it. It’s all on him. I wanted it at a very, very early age. I wanted to compete and play in this game. That’s on him—whether he wants it or not.”
Good luck to him. Tiger I mean.
