Black Arrow is an African-American platform focusing on “the intersection of soccer and Black culture” and they’ve recently paired up with Wolverhampton Wanders to help them gain exposure amongst African-Americans in the US.
With football jersey culture currently booming in the US, this partnership was initially born out of Black Arrow’s admiration for Wolves’ eye-catching old gold and black kit and ‘transformer-like logo’, as well as their appreciation for star forward and “the guy they told you not to worry about”, Adama Traore.
Out of the partnership, we’re getting a studio show with Elischa Edouard and a photo lookbook of Wolves’ latest home kit with photos taken by Black Arrow’s creative director and photographer, Gavin Guidry.
