Pennarello (real name James Campbell Taylor) is a British graphic designer based in New York and his LPFC project marries football and music.
Footballers making music isn’t rare. Think of a famous footballer and he’s probably had a single out, if not a whole album. But with LPFC, Taylor created imaginary covers for a wide range of players from Bobby Charlton to Pelé. What really makes them stand out are the typeface selections and design formats so each cover fits with its respective footballer’s era.
