Dominic Thiem has announced early retirement to due a recurring wrist injury at just 30. The former US Open champion has battled hard to regain his late 2010s form where he won in Flushing Meadows in 2020 US Open, finished runner-up at Roland Garros in 2018 and 2019, and at the Australian Open in 2020.
