I can’t remember where I found out about The Black Sportswoman but I’m glad I did. The site is dedicated to Black women in sport and covers a lot of stories you wouldn’t find anywhere else, which is what I like about it. Bria Felicien is its founder, an Atlanta-based journalist who has featured in the likes of Sports Illustrated and FiveThirtyEight and there’s a free newsletter along with a couple of other freebies:
