Shericka Jackson clocks third-fastest 200m time in history

Jamaican female sprinter Shericka Jackson ran the third-fastest women’s 200m in history at Jamaica’s World Championship trials. Her 21.55 seconds comes 0.02 seconds behind Elaine Thompson-Herah (21.53), who finished second in the race, and world record holder Florence Griffith Joyner (21.34).

“Honestly, I am shocked by the time. I never expected to go that fast […] I knew that I had something special in my legs but to run that fast… I’m just grateful.”
