Football Manager experiments are fun and one of TomFM‘s latest videos asks the question: What if the top 5 leagues in Europe had a 50-year transfer embargo? So that’s clubs in the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1, all without the ability to buy players for half a century. To anyone who hasn’t played a Championship Manager or Football Manager save over the course of a few decades, the results will seem surprising. In fact, maybe it is given how similar the results were to an old save (semi spoiler alert: a non-league team found its way into the Premier League and attained unbelievable success).
