I featured a short documentary on Black surfers in NYC yesterday and I’m carrying the theme on with Black Sand Surf, an art collective on the opposite side of the country:
The ocean is for everybody. Surf culture as we know it is ready for a renaissance of inclusivity, peace, and accountability amongst all humans whom share the ocean. Black Sand is our vision of the diversified and multi-cultural future of surf.
