Peter Ebdon used to be quick and had a ponytail in the 1990s

He may look more like a coot now but back in the 90s, Peter Ebdon was more of a peacock with a flowing ponytail. But there was more to good looks with Peter – his hair seemed to give him a bit of speed too. This clip shows the 2002 World Snooker Champion racing around the table to see how quickly he can pot the colours.

Not only does Ebdon clear the colours in under 30 seconds, he even plays a shot with his left hand, showing off his ambidextrous qualities too (like his fellow colleague, Ronnie O’Sullivan). His first attempt tied him with the leader so he went round again, ponytail swishing around as he raced across the table.

Have a watch and see how he did.
